You only quince once, so when San Francisco-based photographer Kira Stackhouse’s cat Ponette recently turned 15, she threw her a quinceñera.
“Ponette has really blossomed in the past few years and 15 is quite an accomplishment, so a quinceañera seemed like the perfect way to celebrate!”, Stackhouse told Cosmopolitan.com.
It took a lot of research to find the perfect quinceañera dress. She even designed custom jewelry for Ponette.
“She posed for photos and even walked around in it,” Stackhouse said. “I think she really liked being the center of attention … I think pet parties are a great way to bring your friends and family together and celebrate your pet, since they too are a member of your family.”
